Abstract
Objective: To study the safety of high dose chemotherapy in treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. Material and Method: Case study: a fifty-two-year-old woman with stage IIIC ovarian cancer who was treated with high dose chemotherapy. Results: When the patient was treated with combination of palitaxel and carboplatin (AUC 12 in the first cycle and AUC 16 in the second cycle) plus bevacizumab (avastin). There were no severe complications during the time of treatment. Conclusion: High dose chemotherapy is safe for patients with advanved stage ovarian cancer.Keywords
