Assessment of treatment outcomes oligohydramnios hospitalized in Can Tho General Hospital

Abstract

Objective: Characterization of clinical, subclinical, assess the results of treatment of hospitalized women with oligohydramnios hospital in Can Tho city. Subjects and Methods: Cross-sectional description oligohydramnios 160 cases from 06/2013 to 04/2014. The subjects participating in research consultancy, collected demographic characteristics sociology, history morbidity and obstetric of women, clinical examination, pregnancy outcome monitoring and evaluation results oligohydramnios treatment. Data collected is processed by statistical software Stata 10.0. Results: Average maternal age 28.75 ± 5.2 years old with 88.75% of women aged 19-35 years old; first pregnancy (59.38%), not being certain times (58.13%), weight before pregnancy is 50kg. Normal weight gain accounted for 70.63%; antenatal clinics was 91.87%. Uterine height 29.45± 2.6 cm. Waist circumference 92.6± 6.6cm. Average fetal heart 141± 5.13 beats/min. The top 95%, average amniotic fluid index 3.76± 1.24 cm. Diparietal diameterm was 8.88± 0.52 cm. Femur length was 6.93 ± 0.39 cm. Cesarean delivery is common method of oligohydramnios (90%). After surgery amniotic fluid normal accounted for 89.27% and average infant weight 2972.5 ± 500.17 grams; status of the baby at birth had good apgar score is 99.37%. Conclusion: The cases of oligohydramnios have clinical and subclinical in normal limits but treatment results mainly cesarean surgery, no cases of induction to monitor birth vaginally.
