Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the role of hrHPV infected among women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia or worse that were examined and diagnosed in National Hospital of Obstetric and Gynecology. Materials and

Method: Cross-sectional descriptive research conducted on 544 health women aging from 19-67 age old. The research time frame was from Octomber 2015 to March 2017 at the National hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology via HPV-DNA test using Cobas® 4800 system and histopathological diagnosis.

Results: The mean age was 39,2. LSIL rate in age groups ≤24; 25-34, 35-44 and ≥45 was 1,4%; 27,8%; 41;9% và 18,9%, respectively. HSIL rate in age groups ≤24; 25-34, 35-44 and ≥45 was 1,5%; 19,7%; 47,0% và 31,8%, respectively. Ce The cevical cancer rate in age groups ≤24; 25-34, 35-44 and ≥45 was 1,9%; 16,7%; 40,7% và 40,7%, respectively. Among 195 wemen with cervical abnormal lesions, there were 151 patients with hrHPV infected (77,4%). 30,5% of cervical abnormal lesion patients infected by HPV16, 13,9% of them with HPV18 and 35.8% of them with other hrHPV. Pecentage of patients with more than two type of hrHPV at the same time was 19,8%. There was significantly close relationship between hrHPV infection and LSIL, HSIL and cervical cancer (OR: 3,2; 7,3 and 16,1, respectively).

Conclusion: Both LSIL and HSIL declined with increasing age. Prevalence of cervical cancer increasing among older women. There was significantly close relationship between hrHPV infection and cervical abnormal lesions.
