Giant lymph node hyperplasia is a rare disease with angiofollicular lymphoid hyperplasia. It has two main types, the unicentric form and the multicentric form. The unicentric type frequently presents paucisymptomatic and has good results after surgical excision. The multicentric type affects more than one group of lymph nodes and/or other organs containing lymphoid tissue. It can be more serious and presents general signs than the unicentric type, particularly in people with HIV infection. The multicentric type also increases the risk of developing lymphoma. It is often treated by the deverse therapies and has poor results. Here we report a case of Giant lymph node hyperplasia operated in National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
