Abstract
Rationale: Currently abortion many methods, but the case of the previous cesarean, the method does not really effect by difficulties in softening open cervical.
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of initial softening, open cervical and uncomplicated method of putting the ball into the cervical canal Foley pulled continuously.
Subjects and Methods: the study conducted by the method of clinical trials are not controlled in 47 patients between 16 and 26 weeks pregnant with specified abortion and previous cesarean.
Results: The proportion of softening, open cervical success is 95.7%, the rate of complications was 6.3%.
Conclusion: Foley put the ball into the cervical canal continuous pull effective in softening open cervical cases abortion have previous cesarean.
